I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder. I wish Iwas around the last 6 months. I wish you had reached out to me. What happened to you was their Karma. Not yours. #SushantSinghRajput

As actors, somewhere deep down inside, we think we know why he did it & that’s why it so disturbing even if you didn’t know him at all.
It’s a hard game to play and he played it very well but the game won in the end.

It’s no secret Sushant was going through very tough times for the last few years. No one in the industry stood up for him nor did they lend a helping hand. To tweet today is the biggest display of how shallow the industry really is. No one here is your friend. RIP ✨ pic.twitter.com/923qAM5DkD

Shraddha pens heartfelt note for SSR
Shraddha shared a photo frame that featured a still from their film Chhichhore and penned a heartfelt note for him. “There is a huge void... Sushant...! Dearest Sush...! Full of humility, intelligence, curiosity about life, seeing beauty in everything, everywhere! He danced to his own tune! I always looked forward to seeing him on set, wondering what captivating interaction we would have next! Apart from being a wonderful co-actor who put his heart and soul into his work, he was at his core, an amazing person,” she captioned the picture.
Shraddha remembers Sushant as a caring and kind person
She also shared a picture of a book that was gifted to her by the late actor in March 2019. “He cared for people and wanted to see them happy. His kind smile, the conversations we had at shoot about the Cosmos, different philosophies, the moments we spent together, were filled with magical wonderment! During a lovely musical and poetry filled get together at his home (he loved music and poetry), he showed me the moon from his telescope and I was so speechless that I could see its exquisite beauty up close!! He wanted to share that feeling,” Shraddha added in the caption. In April 2020, Shraddha had shared the picture of this same book and thanked Sushant for gifting it to her.
Shraddha: He was truly one of a kind
In the caption of her post, Shraddha further remembered the time the cast of Chhichhore had spent with Sushant and how he loved nature. “Our Chhichhore gang went to his beautiful home in Pavna, where we were awestruck together with the peace and calm of nature around us - he loved nature! He saw things through a kaleidoscopic lens and wanted to share that with everyone around him. He was mesmerized by the simplest things and would muse on them in a genius way...! He was truly, one of a kind... I’ll miss you,” she wrote.
Shine on, Sushant!
Sushant left his fans and followers heartbroken when he bid a final adieu to the world on June 14. His funeral was held the next day in Mumbai’s Pavan Hans crematorium. The last rites were attended by Shraddha, along with other Bollywood celebs like Vivek Oberoi, Rajkummar Rao, Kriti Sanon among others. His ashes were immersed in the Ganga on Thursday by his family members.
Sushant, Shraddha’s candid moment
Shraddha and Sushant shared screen space for the first time in Chhichhore, which received a positive response as well as critical acclaim. It is based on a tragic incident which forces Sushant’s character Anirudh, a middle-aged man, to take a trip down memory lane and reminisce his college days along with his friends, who were labelled as losers, to draw lessons from his college days that made him the person he was. He is forced to slip into flashback after his on-screen son tries to take his own life, burdened by the pressures of performance that come with competitive exams. Photo by Nilesh Wairkar/BCCL
